EPOX 8RDA3+

Do any of you guys know how to get XP to see my single 160Gb maxtor SATA HDD?

Just out of the tin equipment, tried [F6] key to load drivers, no responce, just carries on then XP does not see drive.

is it just my F6 key knackered???

Cheers.

Is it a new install of XP, or an existing XP setup? Is the keyboard USB or PS/2?

If you can get into the BIOS then the keyboard is probably working fine!

DO you mean during install of XP? If so, press [F6] and it will appear to ignore you, but a little later on it should prompt you for the floppy disk.

You should have gotten a floppy with the SATA drivers on it. I don't believe that XP has built in drivers for that.

If you didn't get a floppy disk with SATA drivers on it, you will need to download the driver from Epox's site.
