| 4Pea+ problem with S-ata and Highpoint Hi everyone. I have that motherboard and i have only one problem. Here is that problem: I just install Windows XP in Sata Hdd. Then i booting up. Ok. Everything work perfect. I put 2 hdd in normal ide. Its ok and work perfect. But when i put more hdd in Ide raid-channel. Then that operation system not work in Sata disk. Its says NTLDR is missing. Epox support send me new bios. Not help. What i can do next? I just goint Highpoint Bios settings and i see that one harddisk is boot mode on. I change that Hdd0 and other is Hdd1,2,3. Then i press ESC and "save setting" booting up. Same error. I boot and going back to Highpoint Bios setup. I found same problem. One disk is Boot mode. How i can change that boot mode of? Esc is not save settings? Is anyone can help me in this older motherboard. Thank you for your help.

| I don't know about that mobo in particular, but you may not be able to run IDE RAID and SATA RAID at the same time. Some chipsets implement IDE and SATA raid off the same channel internally, meaning that you can only run one or the other, not both. Note that IDE RAID is different from normal IDE, which you can almost always run with SATA RAID. Hopefully, one of our other members with a bit more experience on this board can give you a better answer.

| Sorry I can't give you more info. I really don't know any more than what I've already told you. I'm pretty sure that someone else will have some thoughts, though.
