Question 4PDA2+ and Maxtor DDO not working???

Hi there,

This is my system:
-EpoX 4PDA2+(Flashed with latest bios)
-P4 2,6 GHz
-512 MB RAM
-2 Maxtor 6Y160P0's
-Win XP SP1

And my problem is that, when is use the MaxBlast 3 installation software and partition my HD's to 163,9 Windows keeps displaying it as 152,66. I think this is because the DDO isn't properly loaded cause when I boot from c: it doesn't show the DDO box and when I boot from a XP boot floppy it says:

"No drive's found requiring the driver. DDO not loaded."

I found these Microsoft Knowledge Base Article's: 186057 and 315679 saying it could be my config.sys but I don't know how to edit that.

Anyone here who could help me out here?

Thank you very much.
