Use anything with Micron Modules (Crucial for instance or Corsair PC2400) - it is okay to use that paired also at high FSB's (>165MHz)

Ditto on Crucial. I've got 2 sticks of 256DDR's running. The voltage only reads 2.48v, yet I'm able to get 146.65 FSB, running aggressive timings. With an Epox board w/ voltage control, I'd love to see what these sticks are capable of. ![]()

Ok two votes for micron. Anyone have any experence with corsiar ram. And would ddr2700 be much better than 2100? I am trying to make the best decision so i dont second guess myself. |

1x256mb Corsair XMS PC2400 "with heat spredder" 170mhz cas2 no problems, had to bump the vdimm to 2.9v after 166mhz

Memory is very strange. My crucial will run 171 cas2 fastest timings at 3v. Ive seen some people getting around 175 with some PC-2700 modules but very few people getting much higher than that without dropping memory timings. Maybee ive just got lucky with my crucial but ive tried three diferent sticks and they all did 168 at least. It does however get quite warm at 3v, when I get around to it ill make myself some copper heat spreaders and see if I can get the temperatures down a bit.
