8k5a2+ xp installation problem

Hi guys,
first of all, sorry for my english. I hope to find here someone who can help me to solve a problem I have.
I've found this forum while I'm searching for FFh post code, and now I know that my mobo works fine.

That's my problem. My PC is so configured:
8k5a2+ 512MB DDR elixir Maxtor 60G ATA/133 RADEON 7500 128M
Win 98 works fine, but when I try to install win xp pro, installation proceed until to peripheral installation (step 3); at 34% monitor became black and system is freeze.
I've tried changing bank of DDR, changing DDR, leaving all cards not necessary, leaving CD writer, with hd on IDE1, IDE2, and RAID controller, formatting with FAT32 and NTFS.
XP not install, it always stop at 34% and I have to power off and restart, with the same result each time.

Someone have idea how to solve this problem??
