| Bios Boot Error Just had a very odd error message on bootup something like "Warning boot order has changed please go into bios and check". Problem was that only disk found by bios was my sata boot hard drive and not my pata hard drive or my dvd drive on same cable (2nd boot option). Rebooted - same problem. Disconnected pata hard drive power connector - system booted up properly from sata drive and also found DVD drive on pata. Shut down, reconnected pata hard drive power, rebooted - no problem all drives found. Any suggestions

| The only time I have had similar problems it was caused by intermittent contact at the drive connectors. I sprayed the connectors with Servisol Super 10, a contact cleaner/lubricant from Maplins. This stuff has brought many electrical switches and sliders back to life for me, and has saved me a fortune in replacement hardware over the years.
