| severe performance lag w/ 8K9A7i, plz help! Hello everyone, just got an Epox 8K9A7i, and I have no prior exp. w/ Epox boards. With XP2700+, 512 DDR-333, PNY ti4400, 200GB SATA-150, NEC DVD-RW DL, ASUS E616 and Audigy Platinum I get 7600 3D-marks in 3DMark2001SE with mobo's 'optimal settings' loaded. Sounds quite low, comparing to 11000 I got w/ my prior Abit KX7-333 (with same CPU and peripherals, except for the new SATA-drive that was the reason I changed also my mobo). Have tried all the usual bios-settings, but so far the highest score has been 8046 (with Turbo-setting, AGP fast write enabled and FSB 167). Should I switch back to my Abit board (and lose my new 200GB SATA-drive) or is there still hope.. I'd really appreciate some help! «1sec» ps. A cool site You have here!
