sure I stucked with win xp but sometimes I'm using linux also from live CDs/DVDs (haven't test support for my new keyboard yet). I wish use linux more often but I can't find working solution for making linux understands my "almost-hardware" sata raid0 array. Thanks to those "almost-hardware" sata raids controllers build in our great board. I wrote some topic or even posts in this one about that issue long time ago and I'm still trying from time to time get over it with newest and different linux distributions. I know there's even some possible solutions already but 1st I need to get working hdd-installed linux distribution to learn how to implement the fix/patch/whatever. Here's where circle closes xD

Guys do you know how to make it? I'm almost about to destroy my raid setup (with necessary backup before ofc) and split it up to hell :/

so you are talking there will be new -=Merlin=- bios relase based on the last official one?

As you well know Merlin has released some versions a few months ago. Those have not been sufficiently tested, especially the updated RAID bios. I have not heard from him in a while but I think we're already pretty busy with the ones we have.
I can't test the updated RAID bios in Merlins release. My boards NVRAID controller has gone to RAID controller heaven.

Linux is closing the Gaps, I tried Ubuntu and I like Suse, but I have to keep the Warden happy and I think she sleeps with Bill Gates picture under her pillow... Dang that Woman!

Hehe, I know the feeling. It doesn't have anything to do with a Gates crush. An unwillingness to embrace change is probably more applicable
