9NDA3J + 6800GT + SATA: do I need right angle SATA connector?

Hello all, Epox newbie here. Newegg's delivering my board tomorrow, and I got to wondering how badly the SATA ports might be blocked by the heatsink on my 6800GT, and wondering if one of those low profile right angle SATA connectors might be necessary to hook up my drive.
-Thanks

I have a NV-5 on my eVGA 6800GT and I trimmed a lot of the hard plastic SATA cable plug so I could bend the cable 90 degrees real close to the PCB.

OK, great, it's do-able then. I won't worry about buying another cable. Thanks again, I'll be back for some OC advice (A64 newb also) in a couple of days.

One of the pics of bundled 9NDA3+ hardware in this review shows two right angle SATA cables, mine came with straight plugs on both ends.
Check this out

I received straight ends also. It fits under the 6800GT no prob, but if I pick up an NV Silencer I'd have to address some issues.

wouldn't TWO right angle connectors just run into one another? mine, luckily, fit under my 6800 GT OC (BFG) but it's really really close. infact, the heatsink on the vid card actually holds the sata plugs in really tight (good thing i think).

but wouldn't the second right angle plug just hit the first one (or the other way around) and prevent it from going in all the way?

Right. Thats why it was fortunate to get straight plugs, made them bend over both ways.
