8RGA+ no post after swapping cpu

OK here's what happened PC was running just fine with a 2000 in it but I got a very good deal on a 2400 ($25). So I decided to install the 2400. All I get is LED code 26 and no video signal...so I figure the 2400 is dead and re-install my 2000. But I get the exact same results. Cleared the CMOS sveral times several different ways (with/without battery). Even changed the FSB jumper cause I didn't know what else to try. right niow the battery is out and CMOS is being cleared. overnight. Any suggestions? KB

Does your manual indicate what POST code 26 is?

It says reserved....I got it to go up to 7H but that .....As I was writing this I decided to have another look and try things again....Boy is my face red...Seems I must've knocked the PNY 5700Ultra v'card slightly as it wasn't seated fully. Sustem is back up and running.
