OK,

I have gotten word back from OvC UK that my warranty was deemed void by Epox. No reason as to why or what the problem is.

That means that OvC UK will NOT replace or refund me this motherboard.

Epox Tech, can you PLEASE find out what the story is here.

The motherboard was not abused or mistreated in any way. It simply stopped working after installing new ram. Period.

I feel that I am being shafted here.

Funny enough, my 9NPA+ Ultra died randomly. Just doesn't turn on. Doubt I'll be able to RMA this.

Sheesh Pitch,

You are sure hard on stuff:-)

I have never RMA'd a mobo other than a DFI. I didnt abuse or mistreat the Epox. I think I should be entitled to know what happened to the board, and also a replacement.

It's over a month now. I don't want to bad mouth anyone, but this is a bit insane.

Can someone PLEASE explain why my mobo is not covered under warranty, and what exactly went wrong? It's not a lot to ask.

Sorry saw that late. I know of at less one distributor that is not authorize by EPoX and for whom Epox does not warrant...but I have no Idea if this has any bearing on your difficulties.

Heh.

Oh well, just found out the board took my CPU with it.

I've come to expect these failures.

X850 XT PE, AMD4000+, EPoX 9NPA.

£800 - Not bad for for one month

Why would you go with the same mobo that took out all your other kit? Would you not try another make, just for safety's sake?

I think I was really lucky that the 9NDA3+ didn't take out all my other bits... Especially now that I've read what's happened with you... man I feel bad for you.

You must have a very high WAF and a good job

I got the same mobo because I hate DFI, the Asus board doesn't overclock well and I know the EPoX one does.

Also, I've killed every ATI card I've ever had - 5 to be precise, but I wouldn't stop buying them.

Besides, I've found the culprit. Scorch marks below the CPU, so most likely something blew that was related to the CPU voltage.
