choice of 2 boards with different cpu's

Hello , I got an AMD AthlonXP-M 2600+ running at 2500mhz,on and 8dra+
but i've bee offered to swap with a Intel Pentium 4 , 3gb Prescott on an epox EP-4PLMI


which should i keep , no moneys is involved so it just which should i keep

From a $$$ point of view, the prescott set up is more valuable. However, I'd be a bit cynical on why they'd want to trade.... Maybe the prescott is a dud that runs too hot or doesn't OC well, or the board isn't first rate.

A bird in the hand (that oc's well) is worth 2 in the bush.

tough one, Personally I think I'd take the prescott, as in the majority of things it will outperform an AthlonXP
The only issue would be that of heat, that prescott pumps out a lot more heat than the AthlonXP, especially as it's a mobile chip, so it's not gonna be as quiet to cool as well

I heard that P4 3,0 Ghz prescott is a very good overcloking potential, saw running at 3,5 easily.....so swap it, keep the P4
