| DFI overvolts. Raise vdimm. Check your timings, Epox BIOS are more aggressive than DFI, you may have to relax something to get it stable. DFI are very slow in comparison to other boards, which is why they overclock higher....they just lose performance at similar settings than other boards. Your TRAS may be too low. TCCD likes between 6-9 whereas BH-5/UTT likes 7-5.

| Could be a compatibility issue with the RAM. My board didn't like my Kingston HyperX pc3000 (BH-5), but loves my Corsair XMS pc3200LL (BH-5). Can you try different RAM?

| LMK how it goes. I will be getting my GSkill pc4800 LA soon and will post my results. Also, have you tried switching dimm slots?

| The mobo's are not the same. If the DFI runs at 1T, that is fantastic, and if you run your memory on the DFI 1:1, that is fantastic also. The fact is Epox is not the same as DFI. They are different mfg, and they do not copy from each other. You probably need to set your HT=3,Mem=166,HTT=280, then if the system starts and loads Windows, see if you can change the HT=4, then recheck, when rebooting look at the screen and make note of what speed the memory is running. Keep it as close to 200 as possible, or be sure the HT is at or below 2000 for sure. If you push the HT to 2500-2800 I doubt if your memory will stand this. Remember start out low and work up the tree. If you jump to the top in one big jump. You may fall, and the fall dosen't bother much, it is the sudden stop that really hurts.

| I am finding that I cannot run the memory I have at 1T on my system, although people with same memory and processor are finding it to run fine @ 1T on the DFI.
