fed up with 9NPA+ Ultra, help plz before I throw out the window.

Well I just got this mobo today. Ive been playing around with the HTT trying to o/c my 3000+ venice. After having a DFI lanparty UT-D I didnt expect the same results but I didnt push that board to the max either. Trying to run a 290 FSB is not possible. Temps are good, 35C idle 43 Load reported by USDM. My vcore idles at 1.675 and has a HUGE tolerance dipping down to 1.627 is the lowest I've seen so far, which is ridiculous. On the DFI I easily hit 290 FSB with my current components which I know are all working perfectly. Even with the 1.675 idle (which reads 1.65) in bios btw. Even with that high of volts I cant run 2.8 which was easily achieved at 1.65 with the DFI. Even at 2.5ghz with these volts prime fails after a few hours. The ram is running at like 145 mhz if anyone would like to conclude that, Even 2T timing. And its definitely not my PSU, all connectors are plugged in. This is driving me nuts and Im about to ship it back to newegg and get something else. I've already gotten one of these DOA and Im about at the end of my rope.

Unfortunately, the epox doesn't oc as well as the dfi nf4 board does when using 1gig of ram. Running 512 and they're close. Additionally, that OCZ UTT based memory is not all that compatible with the epox. The best that I know that any body has done with the epox nf4 is 290, when running 2x256 of tccd. And that was at 2t, 1:1. Same board/cpu combo running the OCZ UTT would post but not boot into windows at 275, 1:1.

Thanks for the reply 45 Auto, is there a certain ram I would have better luck with? I had some corsair ddr500 tccd before which the DFI did not like and it sucks that the Epox now doesnt like this ram I returned the corsair from. lol I just cant win. I'm thinking Gskill but a brand or a link to good compatability list would be great thanks.

I think there's a chance of chipset overheating. Some people say it's heatsink and fun are not good for OC. Just a suggestion
