9NPA+ Ultra with venice problems, Please help

Hello, I just picked up this board with a 3200+ venice core, and I have some questions to see if anyone has a fix for these problems.

First I guess I will tell you that I have the latest bios (2005-08-01)

And it looks to me like this board is overvolting the venice core. Mine reads 1.5 volts, and if I remember right it should be at 1.4 volts. I can't find a way to lower the voltage, just raise it.

Secondly my cpu temps seem off. I can shutdown for 48 hours, and still boot temps are at 43C. We try to keep room temp around 25C. Strangely enough it reads the same temp when under load, usually dropping a few degrees under major stress.

Finally it reads my 12v rail at around 11.07 volts. I have a pretty good power supply (OCZ Modstream 420W)

Is anyone Else having these problems? Is there a fix? Or did I get a bad board? Thanks in advance for any replies.

on my 9nda+ my 12v reads 10.66v on my modsteam 520w. but if it was 10.66 it wont even power on ;-) so it's a bigtime wrong reading...

my brother has a 9NPA+ and his temp readings is way of.. like you say.. 43-45c when STARTING the computer.. , but with the bios the board came with it was 28c when start , and seems right... so NEWER bios mess up the temp readings...
and my Venice on my 9nda+ gets 1.475v

Overloltage is the same for me. CPU temp is 39 if idle, 43 at 100% load. 12V monitoring is wrong, it should be OK for real, otherwise system would crash. Try new EPTP system monitoring tool for this.

Thanks again.

OK, I measured Vcore with the digital multimeter right now. Bingo! It shows about 1.31-1.33V for my Venice 3000+ when software utilities read 1.49-1.51V.

If CnQ enabled, picture is the same Digital multimeter reads Vcore about 1V instead of 1.2V that software does.

Conclusion: software, including USDM and BIOS, read Vcore wrong. For real it is OK for Venice.
