9NDA3 versions?

I have an AGP card but want to upgrade to A64, So i was going to go for the 9NDA3+ but cant find any for sale in the uk. Have epox stopped making them?

Anyway, I was looking at the 9NDA3i, Can anyone tell me if this board is any good or a lame duck?

According to the epox website there is very little difference between the + and the i model.

So far the only differences i can see are:
The + has 2 extra sata connectors with raid, a faster ethernet port and some audio differences.

Can anyone help me out with this, I'm looking to buy it (maybe) in the next few days. Or If you know somewhere that sells the 9NDA3+ even better.

Thanx.

P.s. I cannot find the epox uk site anymore only the europe site. Anyone know where the uk site is? (url) I was looking for authorised sellers in the uk but not had much luck, so far komplett.co.uk is the only 1 i could find.

There is no Epox UK site anymore.

They seem to have very little, if no presence at all in the UK now, as far as I can tell.

The usual places either have none of their boards or very few.

I'd suggest this guy:

Ah, that would explain why i'm having so much trouble finding it.
The board in that link is the 'J' version, Ive found a 'I' version for £45, was just wondering which is better?

As far as i can tell from the epox eur site the 'J' doesnt have the fsb/agp lock where as the 'I' and '+' do.

Does anyone run the 'I' version and can confirm this, or just tell me if its a good board.

Or if all else fails can someone tell me how the '+' version runs/oc's.

Thanx again

I wouldn't buy a second hand board for £50!!!!

All of the boards based on NF3 made by EPoX have AGP/PCI lock, so there is no differentiator there.

You will have difficulty getting them now due a reduced presence in the UK and also becuase NFORCE 3 is OBSOLETE!!!! NADA. The only models you will get in this MCP now are budget or low end models since that is where the AGP market is now perceived to be - particularly with comparatively high performing PCIe cards on the market at c. $149.

BTW - The only real difference between I And J is the Fast ethernet in the former and the Gigabit in the latter.

Thanx for clearing that 1 up for me Andy_C. I'd like to get a newer board with pci-e but at the mo money is tight so i'll stick with my current AGP card for the time being.

Thanx again

leadtek 6800 LE (16x1,5vp) 390/850. Its not abad card for the price, plays most games with ease.

I think i'll go for the 9NDA3i, £45 from komplett http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=318207
seams the best option

That looks like the best course of action!

I've got a 6800U AGP, I'm probably going to stick with that for now. Works just fine.

I'd forgotten that Komplett sell Epox boards. Will have to remember that!
