Question Agp Master 1 Ws Read/write Settings In Bios

I have an Epox 8kha+ and Gainward Titanium 200. What are the settings in the BIOS for the AGP Master 1 WS Read/Write? Does it make a performance difference?

Thanx

Chelupa

I dont know exactly what it does...something to do with the agp latency or something.

Enabled will be faster

The WS actually means Wait State sot it means to Enable 1 Wait State for AGP Read/Write so if you enable it probably it will be slower and it may increase stability at high FSBs.

You should try all setting's and see what your particular setup like's or dislike's:
  • AGP MASTER 1 WS WRITE
    AGP MASTER 1 WS READ
When enabled. It wait's 1 state. When disabled it is probably on 0 wait state.
I have found enabling them work's best with FAST WRITE's enabled.

At a high bus speed (On the 8KHA+) Like I run at. Approximately 175fsb. I disable all three.
