"wooooooo.....sleek man. but Y epox board???? Asus or DFI la....XDXD"

From a guy on there with a 6800LE on an ASUS board.

I must say, I wish the biggest problem with my computer was that I didn't have a chip for my Quad-SLI motherboard. Life really must be tough dude.

Dave will be here in a minute with his Candian flag, and a crossfire owns quad-sli banner soon

Nice. Very nice.

If you read his other thread, you would notice that the inability to count to four, is currently the very LEAST of his problems...

Another interesting item, one that <would> have Dave swinging from the rafters:

http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=31774

Several people have been asking about this.

I reckon the way the cards are laid out would make them easier to keep cool.

Looking at the GX2. Honestly, what is the point really? I mean, it only seems to make Quad SLI a little more feasible, which (95%) of people will never pay for.

I like it though...only need one bridge as oppossed for the two needed for the "original" Quad setup. The cards dimensions (from the pictures) seem to be seriously reduced as well, might fit into a Intro server/ large Midtower maybe? Just looking at the cooling solution, kinda skimpy if you ask me... So is this just a crack shot for Nvidia to push 4 (in the sense) GPU's on you?

Now if you've got these does it mean you'll get a better looking girlfriend, or a famous chick like Joss Stone or something ? Or does it turn you into an over rich nerd ?

I'll go with nerd and make sure I get my chicks in conventional fashion whilst steaming drunk.

hope you didn't pay for those cards there mate. Might interest me if there weren't using mobile chips to deal with the heatoutput. Those cars should have full chipsets and be watercooled!

Gotta give NV credit tho...thier cards are not as hot as ATI's!

Let's see some benches!

AA & HDR?

GRAW w/AA?

I thought not!

EPoX RD580 board? uh...how about RD600 + SB600?

Gonna sell lots of those rd580's.....

While the concept is OK, I'm going to put my money first into a PhysX card.
