Any decent OC guides for the Epox EP-9NPA+ SLi?

The last system I messed with was a Barton 2500+ hehe.. there are a ton more options for this system and I don't want to mess with anything quite yet!

Keep HT bus around 1000mhz (HTT x multiplier). Don't be afraid to use other memory dividers than 200mhz, because that's just boneheaded. Chances are that if you have to increase voltage past 1.6V or so, more just isn't going to help.

Cool thanks for the info.. having trouble getting this 165 prime stable past 2.4 ghz For some reason though my voltages are pretty high.. 2.8 is measuring 2.86 in the bios. Are the Epox bios' accurate? I wouldn't think my pc p&c would be that off

The voltages should be fairly accurate, but EPoX like other vendors are the same - noones onboard measurement is accurate since you are relying on a stock LPC measurement - not a real votage meter reading!!

Start looking at your memory timings try to force the issues of HTT bus or memory being a factor by reducing the multiplier to test firstly. If I could get a Clawhammer to 2.7GHz prime stable on NF3 250GB, I'm sure you'll get a 165 up there too!!!! 2.8 or more mght be asking for it though.

2.8 was the vdimm hehe.. I know it would be quite a pain to hit 2.8 but hoping to at least get to 2.6ghz

Grr.. can't figure out why when I use CPU-Z it's saying I just have 8x for the PCI Width.. I swapped the SLI chip around so that it's set up for single card mode

Don't think so. Maybe it depends on the Revision of the board, but i know some users in other forums, who also complains about the high voltages (VCore & VDimm) readed by this board.

My RAM (2*1GB MDT TSOP, default frequency & timings) is shown in health monitor & cpu-z with 2,76V (BIOS-Setting=AUTO).
The VCore is readed 1,49V, Setting in BIOS=OFF (!).

Generally, the "SuperI/O" chip handles the environmental monitoring. Would you trust a chip that sits on a modified version of an ISA bus and looks after serial, floppy and parellel ports to read voltages and temperatures correctly? They are notoriously inaccurate, so should not be used as anything more than a general indicator. As they are generally the only chip that provides those readings, any software that relies on them will be just as inaccurate.
