Core2duo 650i Epox coming?

Ive got an Epox EP-9NPAJ SLI and single core AMD. I was looking into getting a 650i, and they all seem a bit flakey. Both my nforce2 and NF4 boards from Epox have been really stable; so Im wondering if we will get to see this board in the UK?

Or even a board with the 680i LT chipset would be great (assuming LT stands for LiTe). Im interested in the any board which supports core2duo and has independant cpu and memory overclocking.

You know what kills me. Every time I come to AOA forums, I see a minimum of 50 people browsing the threads. I see dozens if not a hundred thread views........and yet hardly ever any responses.

Now this is a solid question and I hope that those who view this will feel the same as I do and the thread starter. We would LOVE to see this board come to fruition. Now I know Epox is fully aware of AOA and am sure they still chime in from time to time. Andy still stops in and has connections (to some extent still) to Epox. Sooooooo......if people would just post that they want to see this board, maybe it will happen or is already in production and we can get a little light on the subject.

Just my piddly little $0.02

I would like to see such a board available, too. And available in Europe, as it is nearly impossible to buy one in Europe. I have an Epox board (8RDA3+), I have only pleasant memories with it... I plan an upgrade in about 6 months and I would like to use again Epox boards ... If I can buy one ...

Absolutely, I'm still running my 8RDA6+ Pro.

I mailed support@epox.nl about some USB problem I've been having. I also asked about the Nvidia 650i chipset.
These guys usually answer me within the following few days in detail. I'll let you guys know.

Ok, I'll Chime in I bought a new Epox Board on March 12th, 2007
It arrived around March 19th Dead as a mackeral. I got in line with Epox support and got my ticket. I have have trying to get an RMA number and Address from them. I get an occasional response but never an RMA number. finally got them to send an RMA form I filled it out and Faxed it to them ( for a quicker response) Hah. Never heard from them. So this evening I refilled out the form on a word Doc. and sent it off as an attachment. Will just have to see if I hear from them. This board was supposed to go into a system that a client (a very good client) wanted.
I built him a system on an Asus board! Now how about Asus. Well I just got an Asus P5N-e SLI and sure enough it was DOA I called Asus cuz they have a damned phone and in 5 minutes they offered me and RMA# and address to ship it to. I told them I had just bought from Newegg and would RMA it there and they said that would be fine and they were just sorry for my inconvenience.
You know I used to be an EPOX advocate but now I would not P*ss on them. I have read they are near death as a company, well to me they are dead already and I will never never recomend them again. You know they have in 4 of their correspondences with me repeatedly ask me where I bought this board. Every time I write in bold letters

THE EPOX STORE!!! I even sent them a copy of the receipt they issued me!!! They are simply pathetic.

Buy an ASUS you will be better off........

WZ

Theres your response!! Not sure it is what you had in mind. Remember guys any board that's running is great it is when they die you find out who is looking out for their customers

I've said this before: it will be a shame if EPoX goes tits up. I've always put them on my short list of mobos, but if their customer service is that bad then maybe they deserve to lose.

This isnt a good review:
http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mai...965-gli_7.html

Especially the last line from conclusion. Epox tech, bring him back!

Im just waiting for the expected intel pricecuts and going to get a core2duo + a gigabyte DS3. Ive already found a good deal on crucial ddr2 6400 ram. It was £112 +£7 del compared to the usual price of around £150.

they should just make one or two really good boards(680 and 650) and stick with em and maybe more people would take notice. i've seen the epox thread and didn't know what it was for the longest time. and now i may never know that they are all about.

I think I only had one Epox board in the past. Something socket A. It was OK. I just built a 939 system for a friend with an Epox board and it was a complete mess. Took forever to get it stable. Kept hanging at the Windows XP splash screen. Not near as fast or smooth as an Identical DFI system I built. I know this is not a bash Epox thread, but honestly, they do not seem to be the company that they used to be. I would love to see them come up with a great, stable board for the core 2. I would like to see a new stable AM2 board. Not sure that it will ever happen.

Well, the support blokes at epox haven't yet responded to my question. I think that's as good as an answer, and a negative one at that.

Absolutely. Whoever can satisfy my needs for my next board will get my money, as it has always been. Epox doesn't seem to want it anyway.
