8k3a+ Temperature Weirdness

I am running a new 8k3a+ ... For a couple days I was running my old 1Ghz Athlon (not overclocked) on it... everything was great.

I just installed an Athlon XP 1900+ ... I am running the BIOS with optimized defaults... no overclocking. chip is NOT unlocked.

The problem is that in MBM and Sandra2002, it's recording my CPU temp as 90 degrees C... when I reboot, BIOS reports the temp as 45 degrees.

I tend to side with the BIOS, as I have 5 fans in my case and an OCZ Goliath heatsink with YSTech 60x60x25 4500rpm fan. No way it's runnin' at 90 degrees... still somethin's wrong somewhere, and I'm wondering if someone here can help me find out where...

Thanks.

Someone else just had this same problem. I'm not sure if that thread was answered yet, but you may want to look around real quick to see.
