What is up at Epox

Does any know what is up at epox? after newegg.com stopped selling there motherboards, I tried to first call and the E-Mail epox with no luck the phone number provided does bot got to epox but to anther company, so I need to know what is going on?I would like to buy the newst sli supported eox mothernoard, but I don't where to go as all of epox's links show they do not sell any epox motherboards at all so if any one out there can tell me how I can contact epox direct Via the phone please do so, or if know what is going on please feel free to tell me.

Epox no longer exist. But it is my understanding that some former Epox employees got together and started Supox (Welcome SUPoX).

Supox can't sell the old EPoX mobos, though they do have some designs that are similar to the EPoX boards.

As far as buying EPoX mobos, I suppose you could look on Ebay or something like that.

Wouldn't recommend it though, as you probably can't get any support for an EPoX board anymore.

Supox is China only.

You'd be hard pushed to find any stock of Epox boards, they stopped making them long ago now.

Epox Store USA still have boards showing stock and I bought my AD580XR board there in October or November. As said there will be no support but new bios files can be found at Supox China.

You really can't get in touch with anyone through the site, I just entered my credit info and received the board fairly quickly. I really didn't care about support because the I've never had really bad problems except with the Nforce 2 board and capacitors when that problem(capacitors) was big, but they replaced it about a month out of warranty.

The 590/$99 and 570/$64 sli boards still say in stock.

Hopefully SUPoX will start selling over here. They have a new X48 board in the works that look like the last efforts sold by EPoX. The 780G board they have looks better than most efforts available in the US and has the classic EPoX look.

Thank you for the information about the current situation at SuPoX, I hope that the m'board you got from them serves you well. AFAIK, some former EPoX people started SuPoX up in Taiwan or China. As you said, their mainboards are not supported or for sale in the US.

I think you have to have some posts under your belt before you can post graphics. Or something like that.

Yeh the board I got was an AD580XR. Doing real well with only one minor hitch. You can't run both sata controllers(SB600/JMB363) with the EPoX thunder probe running. Not sure if it is just driver or what but other than that sitting in #3 spot of like systems in 06, or was???

By the way if you want to take a look at the Supox boards they are on OCworkbench. The only one that is not on the Supox site is the X48 chipset. Bluetooth usually posts whenever he catches a new one.

Really hate seeing these boards and not being able to get hold of any. Supox boards in general!!!!!!

It's a shame all of their designs at SuPoX copy the designs of Nico Hsu at EPoX - she is one talented girl - check out the booth for CeBit 2006 - the first time I wasn't working for them they treated me to plenty of beer and the stand was amazing.
