8K3A+ @ 92 Degrees?

What I don't understand is at idle 1.80 Vcore, my BIOS shows as 48 degrees. Fine, that's acceptable. However, why would MBM5 and Epox system monitor show me readings of 92 degrees?

Is there a BIOS fix for this issue?

(Using BIOS 2403)

I had this same problem. Another user pointed me to a monitoring utility that, when installed, corrected what MBM displays... don't ask me why, I just know it worked.

I can't seem to get on AOAFiles right now to get the link, so I attached the file here. Hope it helps!

I also fixed that problem, You have to go into the temperature settings and use the P2 Diode. That will help it. But even with that it isn't very accurate.

I am using an xp-1700 @ 1800 MHz at 1.95 Vcore with a thermalright AX-7 and 60 cfm, using my new temoerature probe which I electric taped on the bottom of the HSF, I am getting readings of about 45 degrees. MBM is still displaying about 53 or 54. But when MBM5 reported 70 degrees, my thermal probe was reporting like 62 (I forgot to turn the fan on )

Yup... pretty common that the probe reports temps about 10 degrees too high on the 8k3a/+. I set MBM to adjust -9 degrees, and I'm pretty happy now... the bios reports temps of 50 degrees at idle, when it's actually about 40-ish.

By the way, has anyone used a Digidoc to monitor temps?
