Trouble with SATA2 HDD on 8KDA3I

MB Epox 8KDA3I + HDD Samsung HD502iJ

BIOS detects on first boot normally.
After 1-st reboot BIOS hangs on HDD detect.
Several Alt+Ctrl+Del or Reset need to detect HDD

Set up HDD from SATA2 to SATA1 mode by samsung util from site.
Update the last BIOS: 21.09.2006 da3i6907.bin

My second HDD Samsung SP2004C, 200 GB, SATA1 detects always.
I use the same SATA cable and power cord for my new HDD.

I reset BIOS. Set HDD delay. Change SATA slots and cable. Disable IDE channels. No effect.

HDD is absolutely normal. Only problem with detection.

Thumbs up

I solved problem by setting SATA-I mode by Samsung ES_Tool (w w w.samsung.com/global/business/hdd/support/utilities/ES_Tool.html)

Set MAX UDMA Mode 300 => 150.

Utilities, posted here (w w w.samsung.com/global/business/hdd/faqView.do?b2b_bbs_msg_id=126), don't changed SATA mode.
