| Trouble with SATA2 HDD on 8KDA3I MB Epox 8KDA3I + HDD Samsung HD502iJ BIOS detects on first boot normally. After 1-st reboot BIOS hangs on HDD detect. Several Alt+Ctrl+Del or Reset need to detect HDD Set up HDD from SATA2 to SATA1 mode by samsung util from site. Update the last BIOS: 21.09.2006 da3i6907.bin My second HDD Samsung SP2004C, 200 GB, SATA1 detects always. I use the same SATA cable and power cord for my new HDD. I reset BIOS. Set HDD delay. Change SATA slots and cable. Disable IDE channels. No effect. HDD is absolutely normal. Only problem with detection.
