8K7A+ problem

Two disturbing problems with my ep-8k7a+

My smaller fan (for the amd 761 chipset) on my motherboard is noisy and doenst spin round that fast like it should, how can i fix it? Or can i take it off and put a heatsink there instead?

The other problem is that i have "rolling lines" with my powecolor Geforce 2 64mb GTS and i have tried everything i can figure out. There is also some strange sound that is coming from the "tincan" Could it be something with my motherboard or the Powersupply (300 watt)? Can somebody help me with my problems?

My specs:

Amd 1400 Thunderbird
Epox 8K7A+
512 DDRAM
Case: Codegen and codegen 300watt powersupply
Soundblaster 128pci
Acer CD-R 16x10x40

First, just get a generic 40mm fan to replace it....

Second, your vid card memory is defective. Contact PowerColor...

Cool hmm

unplug it and your fan will cease to work, the chipset will start heating up, and it might even make the situation worse.

don't be a laz, change the fan.
