ALC650 onboard audio Hi there!
This is my first post, but I've been reading this forum for about 2 months. I was just too lazy to create an account as my old e-mail account (yahoo) has dropped pop3/smtp support... I've created my new e-mail account yesterday and now I am here for good :-).
So, can anyone using ALC650 onboard audio tell me your opinion about the sound quality ? I've been using mine and I can tell the difference between ALC650 and my old CMedia 8738 audio.
The ALC650 sound a little too metallic sound, and it can't output bass very well (if I play something with very deep bass it doesn't come out nicely, as if the ALC650 is not capable of playing lower frequency sounds without loosing volume).
Also, I've sent an e-mail to realtek and Epox asking for a very simple option on sound drivers: making an REAR output to be a clone of the FRONT output, so that I can plug in my hifi stereo on REAR port and let my normal speakers on FRONT output.
Nice forum :-)
