Bios Checksum error on 8K7a+??

I was putting together a comp. using an old 8k7a+ board from a previous computer.

Everything worked properly until! I started to mess iwth the FSb.
I knew this board could do 190fsb easily, but that was with an unlocked AthlonXp.
The current proc in it was locked at a 11 multi. so I strived to do about 150fsb on it.
I couldn't get the board to keep stable so i tinkerd with the Vcore thinking the proc needed more juice. I raises it to 1.825 and that didn't help much, so I lowerd it back to the original value.

Whats this??? I kept getting Bios Check sum errors (COde 41) and it keeps asking for a boot disk?? should i insert a floppy with a new bios for the board/could the bios have gotten corrupted??

Need your guys help to come up with what to do..........


PS:
I have a vdimm modd on the board, but it works fine and the board ran fine with the vdimm modd for more than 6 months.
Just thinking iff that could have anything to do with it?

Reset the BIOS. If that doesn't work, reset it again, but unhook IDE Cables, NIC, Sound, etc.... but only leave the videocard, floppy, keyboard, and mouse installed on mobo, just in case you have to reflash it. Leaving minimal items on your mobo gives BIOS less to configure, giving it a better chance to pull thru. It's worked
for me before.

Use the ALT F2 combo at POST. I got the same error doing it from a boot floppy, so I tried the ALT F2 thing and it worked right away. Takes much less time too, like 10 seconds.
