OC'ing 1.8a on 4g4a+

Hi all,
I was wondering what sort of settings I should be getting to run my 4g4a+/1.8a p4 at its fastest speeds? I have a ti4200 128mb and 1 stick of ddr333 512 mb ram (uses winbond chips).

I haven't flashed the new bios (heard bad things about it), and am using the original one still.

I have tried running at 133fsb (2.4G) at stock voltage but it doesn't seem happy... had to bump it to around 1.6v. Gets into winxp, runs 3dmark2k1SE fine... but not looped it or stress tested it yet.

Tried 1.7v and 140fsb, but a bit flaky... sometimes i get into winxp, sometimes BSOD when loading.
Also tried 145 fsb... but no go.

I am also using the stock intel cooler, pretty bad since i get idle temps of 50-55 deg in bios! Should I get a better cooler or am I doing something else wrong?? I am thinking about going for the Volcano 7+, is this a good p4 cooler?

Please also post any other settings I should set to get the max stable oc i can! Thanks!
