8k3a northbridge heatsink

how would i go about changing the northbridge heatsink? at high clock speeds it gets quite hot and i want to add a better cooler to it.

i would like to put one of these on it:http://www.zalman.co.kr/usa/product/nb32j.htm
or something similar.

i really like the design for that chipset cooler because the pins can move to fit holes in different places.

1) how do i safely remove the northbridge heatsink?
2) would that heatsink fit?
3) would that heatsink work better than the stock one?
4) anything else i should know or would something else work better?

PS. i will be using as3 and i would prefer to not have a fan on it.

That zalman one probably wont be much better than the current one.

All I have done to mine is to fit a 80mm fan blowing over my memory and the chipset.
If your aircooling the standard arrangement should be fine (im on water so there is no CPU fan to cool the northbridge)

The stock heatsink is held by thermal tape, if you very gently twist it back and forth it will come off.

The standard heatsink with some airflow seems to be enough to get me to 200fsb.

The stock heatsink is held by an acrylic based tissue carrier tape, if you very gently twist it back and forth the northbridge may come off.

Don't bother in other words - do something similar to what Holst has done if you want to keep the mainboard in warranty.

Hehehe... Guess I'm not gonna even consider trying to change the NB heatsink...
