| Hey All Epox Owners. A friend and I have done a little agp-mod on a Epox 8K3A+ and would like to share the info with you. 1. The place where it happens: http://www.friserverplads.dk/hygge/Agp-mod2.JPG Sorry for the picture, but hey it's better then nothing! 2. Desolder one of the points of R469. Then it's time to solder the 1K pot to the resistor and the other end to the point were R469 were soldered. 3. Now it time to get some juice on that sucker. Go into your bios health status or measure the volt on the transistor, which is located right under the agp-port. 4. It only works with 4xagp GFX's. In 2xAgp mode it doesn't use this circuit. Btw. Remember to place the 1K pot on zero resistants before you solder it and turn on your machine. From our own experiences 1800Ohm will give you about 2,54volt on the agp, so watch it!
