Is 8K3A APIC-capable board?
I am wondering if 8K3A is APIC capable, meaning if it can have 24 available IRQ running Windows XP.

You are aware that although an IOAPIC will provide 24 interrupts, 13 of them will be ISA, 4 will be PCI, one will be SMI#, 2 will be for motherboard use, and one will be for INTR, and 3 will be GPIs.

The KT133, KT266, KT333,KT400 chipsets provide an IOAPIC in the South Bridge.

Obviously someone from EPoX could answer further.

I've heard that with APIC, all your PCI cards will have own IRQ. Is this possible with 8K3A/WinXP? Currently, IRQs are being shared by 2-3 devices.

IRQ sharing is standard and normally presents no problem, Obviously AidanII could answer further.":O}
