Does The Alpha Fit 8045 8HKA + On Alpha's site they say there could be problems and its 'use at your own risk' I was wondering if it is an easy install or not. I have only installed one other HSF and that is a Volcano 6 so I am not that experienced at it |
The 8kha+ is quite roomy around the ZIF socket. EPoX was very generous with the amount of clear PCB area in that location. I believe I am correct in stating that yes it should indeed fit the board . . . . |
I was able to fit my MCX462 Swifty on my 8KHA+ with room to spare. And believe me when I say the Swifty is ALL BEEF. It's huge! It's FREAKIN' HUGE! So yeah, it should fit. |
Installed my Alpha 8045 in my 8HKA+ no problem. Comes with complete instructions, u will need to take ur motherboard out of the case though. Nothing difficult required to install it, just patience. Works extremely well for me. |
