That's my plan. Let me know how it turns out. Of course, I'm at 12x210 right now, I'd going to wait to see E steppings in the wild, and I would be using a single Raptor.

Actually, unless money starts growing on trees, I really might be keeping my eyes open for a nforce4 AGP board so I can keep the 9800Pro for a bit longer. And I don't think I would be too terribly offended if it was socket 754.

(I suppose this means that I'm pretty satisfied with my current performance level, and I don't expect that the system you describe would give me an appropriate amount of happiness per dollar.)

Thats my sort of feeling.Totting it all up its quite a lot of money,I can do it in stages by say popping the raptors onto the 8RDA as I have a serial raid card floating about. This I think might give me the biggest kick. But what with getting a pci-E board I am looking at board, processor and graphics card all at once.Prob £500 ish.
I am not 100% sure but does anyone do agp NF4 boards.I have seen S939 boards with agp but i think they are NF3 chipsets
