stupid question
 
i know thats theres suspose to be something inbetween the motherboard and the motherboard tray.is it the things that have like a threaded hole in one side and a female threaded thing on the other?the threaded thing gos into the tray and the screws for the motherboard screws into the threaded end.right?these things are brass looking?the other puters i built had plastic things that i used this one dont.please answer.thanks

Yes the brass stand-offs are for mounting the mobo to the case.

I had a friend who didnt ask.

She shorted the board out on the case cause she didnt use the standoffs.

Luckily nothing was damaged.

She is now doing science at camebridge :D

lol! i'm pretty smart when i'm asleep. i don't know about the rest of the other times. :D

when i was putting my system back together a couple of days ago, i forget to put the washer back on my swiftech 462. when i went to turn on the avr switch, i looked on my desk and found 4 very small washers :rolleyes: . #@$#@ stupid idiot! took the system apart again just to install the washers so my board don't short. :mad:

thank sfor the replys.i think i got a pretty fair deal on an epox 8k7a+ raid.i got it for $83 including shipping.
