Our Favorite Links

Could you change the default view for "Our Favorite Links" topic from "30 days" to "from begining"

Right now if you click on it it looks as if it is empty.

TIA
Maurice

Unfortunately there is no option for this. I'll ask Mike if he can rig something for us.

A quick fix: you can set your default view to override the settings of the forum in your profile.....

Hope that helps in the mean time...

Another quick fix: collect all the links, check they are still valid, and re-post. Do this every 30 days & avoid broken links lingering on.

If you go to the FAQ topic then it is set to "From the beginning" so it must be possible.

Sigh...It's is possible for the user, I assumed you would realize that and were asking for a permeate change, for which the V-board doesn't offer a an option. Mike created one at my request.

There is an option, hehe

If you go into the admin section and then forums and then edit the forum, you can set the default setting

It was already set to 1000, or is there another? I was looking at:

Default view age
'Select threads from last x days'
Recommended values: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 75, 100, 365, 1000 (ie all)

That's it! You just set that to 1000 and it works
