An idea
How about an additional,optional part of the signature containing info like:

What I'm playing at the moment:
What books I'm reading at the moment:

etc. with some kind of more direct interface than searching through the control panel trying to edit your sig?

I also had this idea about touchpads for laptops but that's not relevent here. Came to me in a dream last night, must see if it's patented yet...

I quite like the idea. A few things like that could be listed under the member's name or location. Favorite movie is another possibility.

favourite movie is more of a profile/long term thing. I like that idea though maybe, "Most recent movie watched:" and a score out of 5 or something?
