As well, we are happy to offer assistance.
Thanks for PM'ing me Gizmo, I didnt get a notification of a reply here!
The article is definitely in the pipeline and as discussed, I will surely start once I have built the new HD projector and fixed any major early issues
My plan is to have the article finished by Christmas at the latest.

Cheers Daniel for looking up my condition, sadly its not easily fixed in many cases as some websites seem to report.
I've had this for 16 years now starting after a particularly bad event in my life. I'm one of the lucky ones as my teeth are somehow still in pretty good condition Not so lucky in that I get more pain/tension than most
My local Dental hospital truly sucks, they live in the dark ages and employ the most unhelpful staff.
The NHS have helped immensely and I am truly thankful for their support but arent equipped to deal with the problem.
So its down to me to make a device that detects when my teeth are clenched during sleep which will wake me up.
Its not all bad, I have good pain killers and have some great days with nearly no pain

Enough of that, theres lots to do on the Home Projector project and I'm really looking forward to going HD!

I will be sourcing an LCD controller if I can get a decent price and will then be using a 1900x1200 15.4" laptop LCD.
Should this fall through, I'll be getting a high res 19" LCD monitor that supports true 8 bit per colour (16.7 million colours). There are many LCD monitors that only have 256,000 colours - 6 bits per colour - and produce 16.2 million colours through dithering (in this case flashing the pixels very quickly between 2 colours). I'm avoiding those.
Its going to be built into a cabinet and will try to make many components adjustable for ease of setup.

Every step will be documented here (in case you missed it )
Home made projector!
Tomorrow I hope to be in touch with the controller supplier to see how the project can move forward.
Cant wait

I see you've developed a battle hardened attitude toward this affliction which no doubt increases the number of good days and gets you through the bad ones.

I look forward to seeing how this project "of the ages" turns out! ":O}

Not a big deal; your submission wasn't the first one that had huge images with it.

No problem. BTW, benchmark screenies are the one exception I can think of. You've really got to capture a full screen res image for something like Sandra or HDTach; there's just no way around that.

Will the images I sent work or do I need to recapture?
