System Tweaks

I've made a few tweaks to how the system operates. Please let me know if you see anything unusual. It is likely that any problems will manifest as pages not showing what you expect (showing old information, that sort of thing).

Hey Gizmo, not sure if you'd consider this important but I changed the title of one of my post so it reflected the subject matter better.
BUT, when you look at it after the change, the title stays the same as the original post title even after editing it.
Post in question is this one.

In Cooling & Temperature Monitoring
Title that is still showing:

Thermal limits of a Duo Core / Quad Processor, exactly how do they determine this???

What it was changed to, and what you see after clicking post link:
Thermal limits of Core Duo / Quad Processor, what sensor is used to measure this???

This is the Only thing I've noticed so far...
Not a big thing, but I thought you'd still like to know.

Actually, that is exactly as it should be. You changed the title of the POST, not the title of the THREAD, which is a separate action.

I've edited your thread so that the thread and post titles match.

Even though this wasn't actually a problem, I appreciate you looking and mentioning it. Thanks!

Thanks for clarifying that point for me Gizmo, and taking the time to change it anyways for me! I do appreciate your time and effort.

i don't know if this means anything. I'm not even sure it's not my fault in some way but it has happend twice today and I've never had it happen before. On two posts with attachments, I checked them and then posted them. Latter when I returned they had not posted. I wrote new posts. As i said, I don't know what happend- just makeing you aware.

Hmmm...........that's one to keep a watch on, though I don't think it is specifically related to what I'm interested in.

Basically, what I did was load a PHP accelerator to try to speed the forums up a little bit. It works by caching precompiled copies of the scripts. Since the vast majority of the information that you see is actually pulled out of a database, formatted by the scripts, and then sent to the browser, it shouldn't (theoretically) affect anything you see, other than to allow you to see it faster. I'm just wanting to make certain of that.

Here's another little glitch...(Not system wide though)
In Data Security there's a post that goes nowhere as it's not even in the section. I suppose it was deleted, yet the post remains on the Main forum's webpage.
