Backup UT server is up ... needs testing :)

We need some testing on the backup server, and it couldn't come at a better time since Daocplace is having server problems right now...

click here to launch the program/server. Alex is working to get Admin access working (routing issues).

Ping was around 125 for me. Runs pretty nice, though, not too slow. May I suggest that both you and phiber download the TwinValley map because it is the best.

When I was on I had 140 ping. My friend was also there, with 400 ping, but he was downloading a lot of stuff. But for me it went pretty well.

I was getting a 200 ping but game play was very smooth. Glad to finally have a backup... came in handy for times like last night.

After a few more days of testing I'll add it to a sticky in games...

Nah, the roadrunner/cable modem network in my area is stupid and slow, so that's alright/normal.

Sure... Lionfish is frustrated with his 56K connection, can'rt say I'd blame him.
