I used to play it before I upgraded my memory to cope with quake 3, it would just feel odd going back to quake 2 as it feels old compared with q3

I still have my copy of Quake, Quake II, and Q3A. I bought Q2 as part of a pack that had all sorts of mission packs and what not. And I have the X-Men: Ravages of Apocalypse total conversion. That's some fun gamin'!

I'll have to check when I get home. I know CompUSA has it. It's in a huge fsking box. About two-three normal game boxes wide. They also have a Linux flavor that I might go pick up soon.

I'll report back when I get home (might not be until much later).

We're probably talking about different things. I bought mine about a year or two ago. It was called (I think) the Quake 2 Quad Damage Pack. It came with Quake 2, The Reckoning, Extremeties, and Ground Zero mission packs. But I can't seem to find it anywhere, which sucks because I wanted to get the Linux version for when I get my linux bawx up, perhaps setup a linux server for Quake 2.

I was at CompUSA tonight, and saw the Quake pack, that came with the Quake Trillogy. But since I already have them all seperately, but almost never play them, I couldn't justify getting them. Although I was looking at the Ultimate Doom......

If you can find it. I didn't have any luck looking around for it. I'm fairly certain I saw it recently, though....

my bud told me to download the q2 demo 4 years ago... i was hooked
bought the ful thing.
bought q1 to see what it was like...
thought id was heaven...
i have the linitied edition tin case for q3a, and the norm one for team arena
if i was stranded on a desert island, quake 2 and my pc would follow... and a really long powercord and network connection.

quake 2 is the best pc game, secret of man is the best video game ever though....
