Game Server

I have a machine set up at 65.127.231.155 running UT2K3 right now. The password is aoarules. I can load other games on this machine as we see fit, provided that I either have the game already, or the game server is a free download.

I am placing this server at the community's disposal for the purpose of having frag-fests or whatever. The only restriction is that I ask you to respect the fact that this server is located at my company's office. This means no gaming from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time during the week on normal business days. The weekends are fine anytime, as are major holidays. If this rule is consistently violated, then I will have to rethink this.

So, if enough people request a game (or a mod to a game) to make it worth-while, I will be more than happy to load the game. It may even be possible for us to run more than one game on the server. I don't know.

We have a full T1 connection, and the machine is running a 2.2 GHz AthlonXP with 256 Meg of RAM. If need be I can put more RAM in.

Dod, I know you are a member over at Wolf. Can you drop over by there and let them know that I have this server up? Since at least some of their members are folding for us, I have no problems with them using it if they like. Particularly if it will get more of them folding.

Yeah, I think your going to need some more mem to have the server run more than one game.
