Need for Speed: High Stakes on WinXP

Has any body figured it out how to make it work? The only way is playing it in software mode, but it looks like crap. If I use Device1 the game looks like if I overclocked my 3D card's ram too much, but I'm not overclocking at all.

Have you check there site to see if there is a patch? I was looking at getting this game, glad I didn't yet.

EA is not supporting the game anymore. The last patch was 4.50 and that was like 2-4 years ago. NFS: Hot Pursuit works, but not High Stakes. I'll keep googling and see if I find something.

Found a patch that fixes the problem. Finaly all aoa NFS: HS lovers can now play the game on WinXP with this
