None. I will stick with my PC. If I had to choose one though. It would be a PS3. I dont think I will buy one. But if someone forced me. That would be it.

At this point in time, none of 'em. There's not really that much info out there yet, and as the PS2 clearly demonstrated, it's not the quality of the hardware that's important.

Sega Dreamcasr was technicaslly supeior to the PS1, Same with PS2 and XBOX, but in both cases the Sony was the better buy due to better game developer support.

I've never had a console since the Mega Drive (or genisus or whatever it was called in the states). I highly doubt i'll be buying a any of those consoles, i like being able to tweak games too much for consoling, but if i had to purchase one of them, it would probably be PS3

I have a pc for pretty games, and a console for simple stuff I can just whack on and loose an hour or two over, which is why I went for a ps2 over an xbox.
The new xbox does sound appealing, but I like my gran turismo games, and you just know already the ps3 will have more choice, though much of that will be dross like the ps2 no doubt

Makes me wonder what the Toshiba TV, with a 4 GHz Cell processor, will actually do with all that processing power!

It's easy to see why it will be used in a PS3, but a TV?

Well last I heard, the Cell processor was supposed to do sort of a distributed computing thing. So, it could be something like if you've got that TV your PS3 games will run better or have better AI or the like.

A single cell processor is already distributed processing (Mind you, so is the PS2). Whilst grid computing sounds cool, it'd require special interconnects between devices to handle the high speed data flow...

I don't care about the platform. I care about the content. I have tried every system out there, pretty much, besides some of the old ones, and not one of them was so good that i have kept it. My pc, even had eveoled so much that the orinal is long gone. But i still own all my games...

I've already bought one toy lately, though I use it as a glorified mp3 and movie player more than as a games system...

... of course, that's 'cos I haven't yet learned Kanji

I think the PSP release in the UK is delayed now due to demand elsewhere.

You could have brought a few back and made a tidy profit on them!

The thing thats putting me off a psp at the moment is the reports of quality problems, like dead pixels and the discs falling out etc..
