Battlefield 1942
I have been trying Wake island demo, seems Ok. The problem I have, apart from being killed by my own side, is the voices are like chipmunks on speed.Whats it all about?

Might be an audio codec causing the sound problem.

Try installing the standard ones from microsoft.

I used to have this problem before I got a different sound card. Do a google search for battlefield 1942, chipmunk effect.
