BF2 Demo - Out now!

Looks like the BF2 demo has finally been released! I'm looking forward to try it out - downloading as I'm typing this. Dial-up'ers beware, it is 559 MB i size.

You can get it here:

http://files.filefront.com/battlefie.../fileinfo.html

http://www.download.com/Battlefield-...-10404526.html

http://www.gamespot.com/cgi/chkpt.ph..._2_Demo_GC.zip

Is this something we could offer up on AOA Files??

559mb is small. Ive downloaded files larger than 1.5gb on 56k.

Thanks for the link, Allan. Nice work!

The demand for this file has effected download.com so much that the site is going up and down like a yo-yo. We should really get this thing up as soon as possible! Is there anyone that can do it?

Exactly what I have, but I get the impression you dont have a skimpy 10GB limit while your ISP upgrades its systems. SDSL means synchronous DSL, as in the upload and download are the same. ADSL is Asynchronous, as in upload and download rates differ. Then there is VDSL, HDSL, ADSL2, ADSL2+. There are a few.

I know what ADSL2+ is. My ISP tried to sell it to me, until I explained I couldnt get it. Its variable speed ADSL, anything up to 24mbit. Is DSL just the generic term for all those?

What does DSL stand for?

This one works well, and since it is the USA, it should be faster than the Australian site.

Filefront is only giving me 0k files.

The Aus one is working, albeit slowly.
