I settled for 2X the RAM for maximum page file. Works like a charm.

Just got done dinking with my system. took it apart and clean it a little. Lapped the HSF. (didn't improve much) I'm up to play again if ya want.

Just stuck another 512mb or ram in my system to see what difference it would make to bf2, not impressed, im gonna sell the extra memory back to someone I need the money more than the negligible increase in performance it gave me.

Tonight we'll enter the server, me and my friends 4 ppl for a few hours !

I've heard that linux community came up with better implemented security in it's latest Linux Mint Gold version, it's actually preventing the user to log in, thus posing 0 risk in contamining the computer with malware! Well done to the open source community!
