BF2 + xFire = BAD!!!!

i was playing BF2 with xfire open and i was talking to my friend who told me that there is something wrong with bf2 and xfire...so i decided to find out my self.

i went in with all the graphics settings at medium 1024x768@85hz 4xaa with the built in fps meter (renderer.drawfps 1 in consol) i was getting 30-45fps

then i tried the exact same settings with xfire off and i get 60-80 fps!!!
so then i thought what the hell why not... i put the graphic settings on HIGH! and 1280x960@85Hz 4x AA and i get 35-50fps with xfire off!!

thats because Xfire is a recourse hog sometimes. in all reality it does it with every game. so high demand games (BF2) its very noticable... not so high demand (UT2k3 maybe) and its not very noticable.

i dont really care though, because the whole fact that i can chat with people while in game is just kinda cool.
