Gizmondo, The Swedish Mafia and a Ferrari Enzo

Sweet story. Gizmondo, an attempt at a portable gaming deivce much like the PSP, has now gone into administration.
The company, which had links with the Swedish Mafia (Source: The Independent) has been in decline ever since Tiger Telematics posted up it's annual money report last year, reporting losses of an incredible $264.6 million, only selling around $4 million worth of consoles.
Steffan Eriksson, a former Gizmondo executive with strong ties to a Swedish "mafia" recently destroyed his Ferrari Enzo in a high speed crash. Ferrari enthuthiasts were said to be "disgusted" that such a "work of art" could be treated so disrespectfully. Only 400 Enzo's were ever made.

It's a car. It was destroyed. Works of art are, in the main, utterly destroyable. Like all material things, they have no permanence.

Otherwise we'd just clutter up the planet with "works of art" till we couldn't move.

Also, Gizmondo have not gone into liquidation. Gizmondo Europe have.

But the thing is, only 400 were ever made, and now he's reduced that number from a nice rounded number, to a strange number.
