Call Of Duty 2 servers

Who's playing this game, and what name and which server, I'm playing it now as QSDT what a shock. Looking to join up with some AOA's.

i play CoD 2 almost every chance i get. my favoritest server is the Dynasty Pub but its located in California so your ping would be horrid. some others are the -=BH=- servers. they are also located in the US so your ping is going to be pretty bad

i used to play CoD:UO in a clan, playing CoD is like a step down :| apart from some improved graphics, its a bit pants.

no nade cooking, no sprint, no windowed mode.. sucks

call of duty 2 is better than UO imo. nicer graphics, optimized gameplay(over vCoD and UO) and nice weather effects.

in the top rung 2 in TWL 7v7 S&D and Almost good enough for CAL

My counter strike friend was good enough for CAL too, he was amazing to watch

Whats CAL? got any hints on how to improve my game, like do you snipe or keep moving, how do you have your keys set up? Any help would be great. What weapons are the best to use?

use dx7 instead of dx9, the gfx are still really awsome!

in your console you want to enter these.
/com_maxfps 0 (unlocks the frame limiter)
/snaps 30 (improves ping)
/r_gpusync 0
/rate 25000
/cl_maxpackets 30
/com_hunkmegs 512 (Set to half your system ram.)
/com_maxfps 125 (Doesn't make a difference if you've got vsync enabled.)

for your key setup, just put it to how ever you are comfortable.

i use E,S,D,F for movement
Z and V for lean
Space for crouch
Left Shift for Jump
Q for prone
R for reload
T for bash/melee
W for nade throw
Ctrl for use
right click for aim down the site
thumb mouse button to hold breath
scroll wheel for weapon switch
Tab to view score
Y, U, and O for chat options

I'm using the G15 logitech Keboard with a Razer Diamondback, rig in sig w/ SB X-Fi and Sony MDR-V6 Studio headphones

Big thanks never thought of moving the move coms to E,S,D & F makes alot of sense get to use Q,W,R,T for more funtions.

With ping is lower the best or is some lag better I currently can get pings as low as 46 or should I choose higher pings like 56 or higher?

i find best to match the avg ping, as this is an offset to the server, in milliseconds.. people with a lower offset work ok, those with a higher tend to lag.

anywhere from a 10 to 80 ping is good, but any higher is almost impossible to play with if you dont know how to lead well with your weapon and even then its hard.

I've played with dial up had a ping of 220 and still was in the middle of the pack. But with my new keyboard layout I'm getting better thanks
