PC too quick?

Hi guys

Strange problem here all the games I play seem to be going on fast forward any one ever heard of this?

Yes. There are numerous internal clocks to a pc. One of them is out of whack. It's generally due to a hardware issue.

ok turned of my overclock and it still seems to do it, it takes a while to happen but it still speeds up for no reason.

The timer in windows is corrupted. I have had this happen both by cpu, and Seagate HDD.

Possibly. look fora proggie called "timertest"...i have given it to a few members here..it will tell you if a timer is out-of-whack.

ok seems be out of tune so will format drive and do a complete reinstall.
